Boston Marathon: Support Morgan Burke!

March 18, 2016
When Jordan Burke was profiled in the Wall Street Journal last summer, he announced to the world that his wife, Morgan, an athlete in her own right, has the Boston Marathon on her bucket list of things to accomplish. It was all the motivation Morgan needed - she signed up for the 2013 race and started training!

Not only will Morgan get to cross the marathon off her life list, it's all for a good cause. She's running on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training and will work to raise $4,000 to help fight blood cancer. She's already more than halfway to her goal!

For Cannons fans who want to help out with the final push to $4,000, there are a few ways to get involved. This Friday, hang out at The Greatest Bar with all donations and $1 from every drink going to the cause - and the chance to win Cannons tickets!

When: Friday, January 11th, 7:30-10pm

Where: The Greatest Bar, Third Floor (262 Friend St. Boston, MA)

Details: Suggested donation at the door; includes appetizers, skeeball and a raffle ticket to win a signed Patriots football, restaurant gift cards, Cannons' tickets and more!

The Cause: All donations as well as $1 from every "Road Runner" drink ordered will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help fight blood cancer.

Can't make it out on Friday? Consider making a donation on Morgan's donation page here.

The Boston Cannons wish Morgan the best of luck with the last few months of training and on the big day, Monday, April 15!
