Cannons Caption Contest Winner

March 18, 2016
He's already won a friend request from Justin Smith, and now Ian Hurley has a Cannons prize pack coming his way as Justin Smith named him the official winner of the Cannons Facebook Caption Contest. Here's the winning caption:

"Hello, goalie, look at your player, now back to me, now back at your player, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped sucking it up on the field, he could play like he’s me. Look down, back up, where's the ball? It's in the goal thanks to the stud your teammate could play like. Anything is possible when your teammate plays like Justin Smith. I’m a bird."

Congratulations, Ian!

Another favorite, this week's runner up, came from our first caption contest winner, Kyler Pollick:

"Justin Smith actually tripped...but he has so much talent that even tripping cannot prevent him from scoring."

And of course we loved all the Superman references!

Thanks to all our fans for the entries, and stay tuned on Facebook and Twitter for our next photo caption contest coming soon!

Special thanks to Cannons' season ticket holder JEFF MATE who took this picture and shared it with us.  Thanks Jeff!
