Cannons in the NLL - Week 13

Neither the Buffalo Bandits nor the Minnesota Swarm could come away with a victory last weekend. The teams are now in the thick of the NLL playoff hunt. Buffalo (4-8) is only half of a game ahead of the Washington Stealth (4-9) while Minnesota (5-7) is 1.5 games ahead.

The Buffalo Bandits suffered another tough loss in the East Division. Kevin Buchanan tallied one assist for Buffalo, as the Bandits fell to the Toronto Rock, 15-9. Garrett Billings of the Toronto Rock amazingly contributed on all of the Rock’s scoring, with 4 goals and 11 assists.

Mitch Belisle and the Minnesota Swarm lost their third- and fourth-consecutive games this weekend. The Swarm fell to the Edmonton Rush by a score of 9-8, then again to the first-place Calgary Roughnecks, 15-10. Belisle recovered 6 ground balls on the weekend.

This weekend features a pair of matches between Cannons. Pat Heim and the Philadelphia Wings host the Swarm on Friday at 7:00 pm. Then, the Wings visit the Bandits at 7:30 pm on Saturday. All games can be seen live at
