Tom Celentani was selected by the Cannons in the 2013 supplemental draft (2nd round, #14). While at UMass, Celentani was a three-year starter who led the team in caused turnovers (24) in addition to being named to the 2012 Scholar All-American team.

We asked Tom a few questions to get to know him as he prepared for Cannons training camp next month.

Winning the most games in school history at UMass last season and being ranked #1 in the country.

If you could challenge any professional athlete in lacrosse, who would you choose and why?

Lebron James because he is one of the best overall athletes of all time and I think it would be a tough challenge.

Favorite sports movie?

Secret talent that no one knows about you?

I can cook pretty well.

For every road trip, I never forget my….?

Most embarrassing song on your iPod?

My country playlist has a couple questionable songs on there.

If you were a celebrity chef, what would your signature dish be?

Fettuccini Alfredo.

Where is your dream travel destination?

What are you most looking forward to this season?

Playing alongside some of the best players in the game and being a part of a great organization like the Cannons.
