Trilogy Stick it to Sandy Event, December 8

March 18, 2016
Over the past three weeks, Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in the lacrosse community have been widely documented. Youth, college, club and professional players and teams are donating time, money and equipment to the cause. With lacrosse hot beds Long Island and New Jersey greatly affected by the storm, it was a natural step for players to get involved in the rebuilding process.

You can read about various efforts in the lacrosse community on Inside Lacrosse here.

One upcoming event was created by Cannons players over at Trilogy Lacrosse. Ryan Boyle, Trilogy CEO, and Mitch Belisle, Director of Marketing, saw a lot of damage to their Trilogy Lacrosse family of players in the north east.

“This year I am thankful for the tight knit lacrosse community and their involvement with the Hurricane Sandy Relief Game and Clinic," said Belisle. "Within 2 days of announcing the event, 20 of MLL’s top players got back to me offering to help out in any way that they could. Many of the players at the top of the game are the best people I know.”

To get involved in giving back, Trilogy created the Stick it to Sandy event, which includes clinics for youth and high school players followed by a 7v7 exhibition game featuring some of the MLL's top players. Cannons players slated to appear include Matt Smalley, Brian Farrell, PT Ricci, Bruce Bickford, Ari Sussman, JJ Gilbane and Coach Duffy. They'll join players from the other MLL teams in a fun indoor game to entertain the Jersey Shore crowd.

An autographed Jordan Burke jersey is also up for grabs, among a long list of awesome prizes.
