The Boston Cannons will visit the Hamilton Nationals in another rematch of the 2011 MLL Championship. The teams split their 2011 regular season series 1-1. Hamilton won in Boston, 16-12, and Boston won in Hamilton, 13-8.

The Nationals are led by Major League Lacrosse legend Casey Powell, 2008 Playoff MVP Joe Walters, six-time defending Warrior MLL Defensive Player of the Year Brodie Merrill, and 6'4'', 254 lb. goalie Scott Rodgers.
