BOSTON CANNONS SPRING INTERNSHIPS
January - May
The Boston Cannons are now accepting resumes for spring of 2014 internships. Interns work 2-4 days per week in a combination of office and community events covering weekdays, evenings and/or weekends. A general schedule will be set for each intern, but flexibility is needed to work out of office and weekend events.
All interns will assist in general office operations and have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of running a professional sports team.

Ticket Sales Internship
The ticket sales will work with the Director of Ticket Sales to assist in all aspects of ticket sales for the Boston Cannons. The intern will learn about one of the most important aspects of professional sports: filling the stadium with fans. The sales intern will assist with season ticket promotions, database management, group sales initiatives, courtesy follow-up calls to past customers, community events, and potentially making sales calls.
Marketing & Public Relations Internship
The marketing & public relations intern will work the marketing and communications manager to assist in all aspects of promoting the Boston Cannons brand and ticket packages. The intern must have strong writing skills and be will to conceptualize and complete original content for the website and social media outlets. The intern will work on design and production of Cannons marketing materials, web-site management, social media marketing, press release writing, and community marketing events. Some Adobe Creative Suite skills preferred.
The operations intern will focus on the preparation for 2014 home games, including seven regular season games and the MLL All-Star Game, all played at Harvard Stadium. The intern will focus on sponsorship fulfillment, player equipment organization and management, Cannons Lacrosse Academy planning, special events, and more.
The sponsorship intern will work closely with the director of corporate partnerships to on the full process of securing and fulfilling team partnerships. Duties will range from research, scouting, and reporting on potential partners to creating presentations and fulfilling all aspects of secured partnerships. Must have knowledge of PowerPoint.
BOSTON CANNONS SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
Interns will work four days in the Cannons front office plus all seven home games, Championship Weekend and additional events. Game day volunteers will work the seven home games, MLL All-Star Game, and additional events.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, all interns will assist in general office operations and have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of running a professional sports team.

GAME DAY VOLUNTEERS
If you are interested in adding event experience to your resume and have limited availability, consider being a Cannons game day volunteer. We have seven home games plus the MLL All-Star Game, and need volunteer support in the following roles.
