Matt Dwyer

PRESIDENT & FOUNDING CHAIRMAN OF MEMBERS OPERATING GROUP

A Manhasset, Long Island native, Matt has been involved in lacrosse since childhood as a player, coach, administrator, and non-profit board member. The Boston Globe has called him, "Greater Boston's Pied Piper of Lacrosse."

A four-year starter at Dartmouth College (1971-75), Dwyer co-founded the successful Canterbury School (CT) program and the boys lacrosse program at Weston (MA) High School, building on Weston's decades of girls' lacrosse prowess. He coached at Phillips Exeter Academy, and founded Weston Youth Lacrosse, of which he remains an active a board member. In addition, Matt co-founded the approximately 18 team Massachusetts Bay Youth Lacrosse League in 1993, which included girls in 1995. In 2011, approximately 920 teams comprise MBYLL and MGLL. Formerly the chair of the board at MetroLacrosse (www.metrolacrosse.com), he remains a board member of this education-based lacrosse organization providing free equipment and guidance to 750 children in the cities of Boston, Brockton, Chelsea, and Lawrence.

He is a former Partner and Board member of Spaulding & Slye, now part of Jones Lang LaSalle, a publicly traded global real estate company where he was until recently an International Director. He is now a Principal at both The Roseview Group and Still North Partners real estate firms.

Matt is also actively involved with several real estate industry organizations, as well as non-profits providing opportunities to under-served children, including Nantucket Community Sailing. He and his wife, Meg, have three children, Jake, Cate and Molly, all of whom played lacrosse throughout high school or college.
