This year's MLL All-Star Game will be taking place in Palm Beach County, Florida on June 30th. The fans voted and now the best players in the league will join forces on one field. The game will again take place between “Young Guns” (2009-present) and “Old School” players (2001-2008). The Boston Cannons have six players who will showcase their talents - on both sides of the field. Mike Stone, Brian Farrell, and Jordan Burke will be joining the Young Guns while Kevin Buchanan, Paul Rabil, and Chris Eck will be joining the Old School team.
Midfielder Mike Stone will be playing in the All-Star game for the first time in his MLL career. Stone was a 2010 supplemental draft pick in the 9th Round. As of week six of the 2012 season, he has tallied 18 points with 14 goals and 4 assists and had four consecutive hat tricks earlier this season. He ranks at number 10 for top scoring leaders of the season.

Brian Farrell will also head south to the All-Star game for the first time this year. This defensive player was drafted in 2011 out of the University of Maryland. He has tallied 6 points with 5 goals and 1 assist while recovering 17 ground balls so far this season.

Goalie Jordan Burke joins his Young Guns teammates for the first time as well. Having played every minute this season, Burke has helped the Cannons solidify four solid wins with a save percentage of .555 (76 total saves). Burke is the number two goalie leader in the MLL with a goals against average of 10.08, right behind Rattlers goalie Mike Gabel. Burke was named the first Major League Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week of the 2012 Season.

Midfielder Paul Rabil is no stranger to the MLL All-Star Game. Rabil has been named to the All-Star team every year of his MLL career, beginning with the 2008 season. He is the MLL scoring leader so far in 2012 with 35 total points, comprised of 14 goals, 20 assists, and 1 two-point goal. Rabil was named Bud Light Player of the game during the match against Denver on May 19th.

Fellow Old School player Kevin Buchanan has played in the All-Star game once before, during the 2010 season. This attack player has totaled 14 points this season with 12 goals, 1 assist, and 1 two-point goal.

Finally, Chris Eck will be joinging the fellow "Old School" players. Eck was a 4th round selection in the 2008 MLL collegiate draft. Eck has made 3 goals so far in 2012 along with collecting 41 ground balls. As of week six, he is 102-176 for face-offs.

As the 2011 Championship coach of the Boston Cannons, Coach Duffy will be the coach of the 2012 MLL "Young Guns" during the All-Star game.
