Boston Cannons season tickets went on sale officially on October 1st of this year, and the phones were ringing off the hook in the front office with callers renewing or purchasing their season tickets. The Cannons have always had great support from the loyal Cannon fans, a big factor in the Cannons' first ever MLL Championship in 2011.
The 2014 season ticket package, however, is the best the Boston Cannons have ever offered. This year, the Boston Cannons will be having a nine-game package including seven regular season home games and the 2014 MLL All-Star Game, featuring Team USA vs. the MLL All-Stars, at Harvard Stadium. The package also includes a potential playoff game, should the Cannons host a semi-final game as the first or second seed.
Here are just some benefits for purchasing Boston Cannons season tickets:
Also, if you purchase season tickets before the end of the 2013 year, you will be entered into a weekly raffle to win Cannons prizes! Each Friday through the end of the year, the Cannons will raffle off a prize pack for 2014 season ticket holders. People who have purchased or renewed season tickets will automatically be entered to win for all subsequent weeks. Week #1 winner David Radmore won an authentic jersey signed by members of the 2013 team, authentic game shorts signed by Paul Rabil, 2011 MLL Champions logo ball signed by Paul Rabil, autographed Ryan Boyle player photo, and a fitted white Cannons hat for renewing his season tickets.
Here are some quotes from loyal season ticket holders on why they love the Boston Cannons:
“I love bringing my 80 year old mother and my 9 year-old son to games. My mom has become a big lacrosse fan and the Cannons provide the most family-friendly environment (and reasonably priced tickets) of any professional sports team in New England - the best (Cannon) bang for your buck.”
“What we've always enjoyed about Cannons games for many years now is how accessible the game is for the fans. The venue is small enough to let you get close to the game. You can see the attitude in the player's faces and you know how hard they are working to be the best they can be. It's professional sports that is much more personal way than some sports in the area. And the access to the players after the game really gets the fans and future players excited about the game.”
“I like Boston Cannons games because they bring me back to the excitement of the game as a child and I can share the same memories and fun and the love of the game with my son.”
“The Cannons go out of their way to have young fans interact with the players; it is the way sports used to be.”
