Scott McWilliams, Defenseman (Round 1, #8) - University of Virginia

#8 Virginia fought hard to hang on against #2 Duke, but fell 17-15. UVA is now 8-5 for the season and 1-4 in their conference.  With this loss, Virginia will place fifth or sixth in the ACC and will play in the "Showcase Game" on April 26. Scott scored a goal in the first quarter and picked up 1 ground ball and 2 caused turnover. Click here for the full game recap.

In his thirteenth game of the season, Rob has recorded 3 goals, 1 assist and 22 ground balls.

UVA will return to action April 19 against Bellermine.

 

 

 

Rob Emery, Midfield (Round 3, #17)- University of Virginia

Virginia lost in a close game against Duke 17-15 on Friday night. UVA outshot the Blue Devils 53-34 and had even fewer turnovers, 16-2, but still couldn’t' come up with the win. Rob helped Virginia take an early lead with a goal  just four minutes into the game and 1 ground ball. Click here for the full game recap.

In his thirteenth game, Rob has recorded 12 goals, 5 assists and a shot percentage of .231.

UVA will return to action April 19 against Bellermine.

 

 

Austin Kaut, Goalie (Round 3, #19) - Penn State University

Penn State nearly recorded their first shutout on the season, with a win against Towson 8-1. The Nittany Lions are now 5-6 for the season and 1-2 in their conference. In Austin's 58:49 minutes of play he held Towson to 0 goals. In the last 1:11, Conner allowed their only goal of the game. Kaut had 11 saves, 1 ground ball and 1 turnover. In his eleventh game of the season, Austin has allowed 98 goals with 112 saves. His save percentage is now .533.

Penn State will return to action April 19 against Delaware.

 

 

Jack Reilly, Defenseman (Round 5, #33) - Johns Hopkins

Hopkins defeated Maryland 11-6 in their Homecoming game on Saturday. Jack had 2 ground balls, 1 caused turnover and a 1 minute penalty for Illegal Body Check. Click here for the full game recap. Click here for the full game video recap. 

Johns Hopkins also defeated  Mount St. Mary's 17-2 on Monday. This was a makeup game that was postponed due to snow on March 4. This marks the Blue Jays third straight win and they are now 8-3 on the season. Click here for the full game recap.

In his tenth game of the season, Jack has recorded 15 ground balls, 3 turnovers and 4 caused turnovers.

Johns Hopkins will return to action April 18 against Navy. (Game will be televised on CBS Sports)

 

 

Erik Smith, Midfielder (Round 6, #37) - Air Force

Air Force upset #11 Fairfield in their last home game of the season, 16-8. The Falcons have won six straight games are now 8-3 for the season and 3-0 in their conference. Erik Smith added two goals, three assist and a team high six ground balls. Click here for the full game recap.

In his eleventh game of the season, Erik has recorded 17 goals, 11 assist and 40 ground balls. Smith is 48-82 in face-offs increasing his  face-off percentage of .585.

Air Force will return to action April 19 against Ohio State.

 

 

Phil Poe, Faceoff Midfielder (Round 7, #51) - UMBC

UMBC defeated Hartford 16-11 in an America East Conference game. The Retrievers improve to 6-5 for the season and 2-1 in their conference. Phil scored an unassisted goal in the first quarter to secure a 5-0 lead. Poe also recorded 7 ground balls on the day. Click here for the full game recap. Click here for the full game video recap.

In his eleventh game of the season, Phil has recorded 3 goals, 1 assist and 77 ground balls. Poe is 134-253 in face-offs and has a face-off percentage of .53.

UMBC will return to action April 19th vs. Albany.

 

 

Jack Murphy, Goalie (Round 8, #59) - Fairfield

On Saturday, Fairfield dropped to Air Force 16-8, snapping their seven-game winning streak . The stages are now 9-3 for the season and 2-1 in their conference.  Jack made 11 saves with 2 ground balls. Click here for the full game recap.

On Tuesday's non conference matchup, Fairfield beat Quinnipiac 15-10. The Stags improve to 10-3 for the season. Murphy made 5 saves, with 3 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers. Click here for the full game recap.

In his thirteenth game of the season, Jack has recorded 112 goals allowed and made 123 saves. His save percentage is now .523.

Fairfield will return to action April 26 against Ohio State.
