The Boston Cannons are searching for an experienced Ticket Sales Manager. This key organizational leader will be responsible for developing the Cannons group ticket sales strategy and executing on that strategy. Selling tactics will include phone prospecting, setting personal appointments, and attending Cannons grass roots events to create demand for group ticket packages with area businesses, groups and organizations.
The successful candidate will possess:
Responsibilities:
Develop and expand group ticket contact base through prospecting, cold calling, networking and participation in grass roots marketing events
Develop and execute group ticket sales strategies
Work cross-functionally with marketing, sponsorship, PR and events to maximize ticket sales and prospects
Attend lacrosse and other marketing events year round to promote Cannons ticket packages
Act as a trouble-shooter and account liaison on game-day to assist with season and group ticket issues
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree
3-5 years of direct group ticket selling experience including cold-calling
Ability to quickly determine problem(s) and present solution(s) in difficult situations
Customer service experience
Expert skills in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and a database program
Effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills
