Rabil clinics recap and pictures

Boston Cannons star midfielder PAUL RABIL was in town this past weekend to conduct 2 Offensive Skills and Shooting Clinics for youth lacrosse players in the greater Boston area. 

The first clinic was held on Saturday afternoon at Fore Kicks in Marlborough.  50 kids attended the clinic taught by Rabil and his Cannons teammates Kevin Buchanan and Jake Beebe.  Prior to the start of the clinic, Rabil was interviewed for the Style Boston show on NECN and Comcast Sports Net.  Linda Holliday has a segment on the show called “Off The Field” where she profiles and interviews local sports stars about their lives on and off the field.  Part of the interview was about Rabil’s friendship with New England Patriots head Coach Bill Belichick. 

Rabil put on demonstrations for the kids then broke them up into groups to work on stick skills, shooting techniques, dodging drills, and dodging and shooting drills.  After the clinic, Rabil and Buchanan signed autographs and took pictures with all the kids in attendance.

The 2010 Fall Clinic Series is just getting started!  On December 4^th, Cannons face-off specialist CHRIS ECK is coming to town to teach the art of the face-off to youth players.  On December 18-19, Cannons all-time leading scorer MATT POSKAY will be hosting 2 Shooting Clinics.
