Selecting players in January will be a lot more difficult for all the MLL Head Coaches as they will be selecting college players entering their senior season. The last collegiate season is normally a great proving ground for players who want to play in the MLL. It's either a time to prove that early years success was not a fluke, or to show their vast improvement. Players can make a statement by leading their teams to NCAA Championship glory or quite the opposite when the hype and promise can fizzle out a player's career.
What does all this mean for lax fans? More fun and debate! Second guessing, and hind sight remarks on busted picks all NCAA season long will resonate throughout the cyber world. Praises will rain down to the coaches who dark horse picks have breakout seasons, making other teams jealous and fans eager to see their new talent on the field this summer. Is there a clear-cut #1 pick like Rabil was in '08? Does local talent shine through again to follow Max Quinzani as the Cannons first pick?

With just over 3 weeks until the draft, BostonCannons.com will provide our fans with all the info they need leading up to Jan 21 with player previews, insights, mock drafts and more!
