Kevin Buchanan tallied four goals and
Paul Rabil had five points on three goals and two assists in the Boston Cannons' 17-10 victory over the Chesapeake Bayhawks (3-3). Down 7-6 at halftime, the Cannons held the Bayhawks to three goals in the second half to improve to 5-1, leading Major League Lacrosse.

"It's tough to win on the road, and it was a stout defensive effort in the second half that propelled the team," said Cannons head coach Bill Daye. " We move on to the next game in Denver next Sunday."
Chris Eck edged Alex Smith in face offs, going 16-30, surpassing 500 wins in his career.
Matt Poskay, held scoreless in the first meeting with the Bayhawks this season, scored a hat trick.
Brian Farrell, a rookie defender out of the University of Maryland, notched a goal and an assist in his professional debut.
Kyle Sweeney and
PT Ricci added long-pole goals with one and two, respectively. Rabil's five points brought him to 150 in his professional career.
The Boston Cannons travel to Denver to face the Outlaws next Sunday, July 3 at 9:00 PM EST. The next game at Harvard Stadium will be the 2011 Sports Authority Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game on July 9
