With just over a month until the start of the 2011 season, we here at the Cannons are getting ready to bring you a great season. While the team on the field will no doubt be exciting, we also have a number of fun events planned for our fans this summer.
This season, we will be partnering with
Harvey Building Products to bring you the Harvey Lucky Sevens. At the start of the third quarter at every Cannons home game, one lucky fan will be chosen at random for the contest. If the Cannons score seven or more goals in that quarter, the chosen fan will
win 20 new windows for their home.
Another great event this season is
The Stockyard Restaurant Stock Shot Challenge. At one point during the game, two children will be chosen at random to compete in a shoot out against a goalie. Each child will have five shots and whoever scores the most goals will
win a Stockyard Gift Card for their entire row. In the event of a tie, the shoot out will continue in sudden death until there is a winner.
The Cannons and
SuperCuts will work together this season to bring you the
of the Game. Fans will be able to enter online by submitting a picture and a written response. One super fan will be chosen for each game and the
winner will watch the game from behind the Cannons bench and win a prize package.
SuperCuts will also be holding a drawing in its southern New Hampshire and eastern Massachusetts stores in which one lucky winner will receive
a trip to MLL Championship Weekend 2011. Fans will fill out a card and drop it in a box at the SuperCuts location and one winner will be chosen at the final regular season game on August 13. The winner will receive a trip for two to Championship Weekend that
includes airfare for two, two nights in a hotel, MLL and Cannons apparel and a meet and greet with Cannons players.
Finally, the Cannons and
Muscle Milk will join forces to bring you the
High School Skills Competition presented by Muscle Milk. On May 21, the Cannons will host
High School Night with a variety of activities including on-field recognition and the Skills Competition. The event will consist of three challenges: Hardest Shot, Scoop & Shoot and Accuracy. The event is open to boys and girls in 9-12 grade. The top five participants from each class, freshmen to seniors, will be invited back to All Star Weekend on July 9 to determine a winner for each class. Any student is eligible for the contest, even if their team is not attending as part of High School Night.
If your team is interested in attending as part of High School Night please call 617-746-9933 to reserve your spot while they last.
