Paul Rabil, Kevin Buchanan, Kyle Sweeney and Pat Heim were all in action for the Philadelphia Wings this past weekend as they were visited by the Toronto Rock. Rabil finished the game with one goal, two assists, and collected six loose balls. Buchanan also saw the back of the net, tying a team high two goals on three shots on goal; Buchanan also collected eight loose balls. Sweeney collected three loose balls and Heim ended his night collecting five loose balls. The Wings went on to “rock” Toronto by a score of 10-9 in overtime.
Philadelphia hits the road next Saturday for their last regular season game to face the Washington Stealth. With another win in Washington and two Rochester losses, the Wings can clinch a home playoff game.
The Minnesota Swarm also all but clinched a playoff spot on Saturday night with a 17-12 win at the Colorado Mammoth.
Mitch Belisle ended his night tallying one goal and collecting four loose balls for the Swarm.
The Swarm play their final regular season game on Saturday, April 20 vs. the Colorado Mammoth.
