TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT: For the third straight year, the All-Star Game was decided by a single point after Team Authority's 21-20 victory over Team Warrior on Saturday night ... In 2009, the Old School All-Stars edged the Young Guns by a 22-21 margin in overtime ... Team USA edged the MLL All-Stars by 13-12 in last year's exhibition at Harvard Stadium.

20-20 VISION: For just the third time in the 10-year history of the All-Star Game, both teams scored at least 20 points ... In 2005, the Young Guns All-Stars edged the Old School All-Stars by a 21-20 margin in overtime ... Two years ago, the Old School All-Stars earned a 22-21 overtime victory over the Young Guns ... It is the fifth time that the teams have combined to score at least 40 points.

DAILY DOUBLES: Team Warrior midfielder Michael Kimmel tied a Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game record by scoring three two-point goals in the 21-20 verdict on Saturday night ... In 2009, Brian Langtry converted three two-point goals for the Old School All-Stars ... Kimmel was making his first-ever MLL All-Star Game appearance.

AN EVEN DOZEN: A total of 12 players made their first-ever appearances in the MLL All-Star Game on Saturday night ... In addition, Chesapeake Bayhawks Coach Brendan Kelly made his first appearance in the All-Star Game.

POINT TAKEN: In addition to tying the All-Star Game single-game mark for two-point goals, midfielder Michael Kimmel set an All-Star Game record by posting nine points on Saturday night ... He eclipsed the previous record of seven points, which was set seven times.

THREE FOR THREE: Midfielder Paul Rabil earned a title in the Bud Light Skills Competition after claiming the Freestyle championship on Saturday night ... He had claimed the Fastest Shot contest in each of the last two years with 111 m.p.h. ... Defenseman Kyle Hartzell claimed this year's Fastest Shot title with a shot of 102 m.p.h.

SWEET 16: With a goal in Saturday's All-Star Game, attackman Brendan Mundorf upped his MLL All-Star Game record goals total to 16 in five career appearances ... He tied an All-Star Game record last year with six goals in Team USA's 13-12 victory over the MLL All-Stars.

ELDER STATESMAN: Rochester Rattlers midfielder Matt Striebel set an MLL record by playing in his seventh All-Star Game on Saturday night ... He was limited to one shot on goal in helping Team Authority earn a 21-20 victory.

THAT'S MORE LIKE IT: After winning just 6 of 13 face-offs in last year's All-Star Game, Team Authority midfielder Chris Eck won 21 of 38 draws on Saturday night ... Eck leads the MLL with 121 face-off wins during the Boston Cannons' first seven games ... Team Warrior midfielder Geoff Snider won 17 of 38 attempts on Saturday night.
